For those people who were here last year and remember, what days would be best to travel during Lunar New Year with to avoid some of the traffic? |

Generally, travelling to Seoul for the holiday shouldnt cause you any big headaches. The big exodus is from Seoul, so your side of the highway should be fairly clear sailing while the suckers on the other side inch along. |

One that caught me out Chuseok last year was that because the buses do circuits....i.e Wonju-Seoul-Wonju-Seoul etc, the buses coming back were stuck in the traffic jam from Seoul, and the bus station I was travelling from actually ran out of buses even though I was heading TO Seoul. |
