I don't live in Seoul, but I do hope to drop by from time to time. I'd like to know: Is there a venue in Seoul that has an English open-mic night for music/poetry/comedy/monologues/performance art/whatever? When I lived in Prague I was pleased to find such a place... the most interesting foreigners were sure to be found there.
More generally, what sort of English-language cultural/arts community exists in Seoul, and how/when can it be accessed?
Thanks!

The only mics with English will more than likely be in those singing rooms.
Why not get a group of folks together, find a large room in a norae bang, and have a poetry reading instead!
Why not try a local library. |
