Hi,
While reading the daily offerings on Dave's, I came across this:
http://www.eslcafe.com/jobs/korea/index.cgi?read=14690
While I'd prefer teaching adults, it doesn't look like it will be an easy position to hook up while in the states. This is where I'd like to work (Busan), and the pay/accomodations seem reasonable.
My question is about the TEFL cert. Does this sound legit to you? Ad reads, "Accredited Australian Uni", but I don't know. Accredited by her mom? I don't know, just rambling at this point. Any input appreciated. |

Yeah, studying in the morning then working 2-10 pm M-F. Sounds great.
Accredited, well it probably is. Many Korean unis have shared programs with schools in the west. |

Yeah, it does. The TEFL certs are fairly simple. Many can be picked up in 4 weeks just about anywhere. Pusan National University offering one, I'm sure its legit.
They probably do have some exchange program with Australian universities.. all legit as well. So probably would apply as some credits to some sister school.
Yeah, sounds like a good gig. |
