This school goes under three different names that we have found. Kids College, Kids School and Cherry Creek School. We signed a contract with Kids College in Kwang Myoung, our students were great, our supervisor was very helpful, and our director was never around, almost the perfect job. Our director is also studying to become a priest. Once you finish reading this you will wonder, just like we do, why he thinks he can be a man of god. Our first paychek was on time, of course it was only half a months pay becuase we came half way through the month. Octobers pay was a day late, our director, who only comes around on pay day, waited until we were finished teaching our kindergartens to tell us he couldn't pay us. We then packed up and left the school and told him to call us when we had our pay. The next day we were paid. Things progressively got worse, he felt we did him wrong by leaving the school and not teaching the elementary students. Mr. Lee, our director, has never come across five teachers who stand together and don't work when they don't get paid. Novembers pay, again we had to wait til we were finished teaching the kindergarten students to find out he could not pay us again. He played the whole if you don't teach we have no students, and if we have no students we cannot pay you. Not wanting to we stayed and taught. Now we have more than enough students to cover our pay, the seven Korean helpers and the five bus drivers and all the other expenses Mr. Lee does not pay. We have no idea where all the money goes but we do see the mafia come and go everyday with a nice chunck of money in their pockets!! So we waited a week and a half to receive our Novembers pay and hoped Decembers pay would be on time. Boy were we wrong!! Imagine that! Again Mr.Lee waited for us to ask him if he had the money to pay us and his answer, surprise surprise, was no! We then left the school and started to pack. During this whole time Mr. Lee accusing us of killing him. This guy is a real piece of work. We went to the labour board and immigration and filed reports against him. We have be going back and forth between the labour board and immigration trying to get the money we have already worked for and try to get release letters so we can try and find good, honnest schools to work for. We are all Canadians that worked at this school. We are all good honnest people. We hope no one goes to work for this school or this man ever again. There is alot more to this story but I would need another couple of hours to explain it.
So please no one ever work for Kids college, Kids School or Cherry Creek Kwany Myoung. The directors name is Mr. Il Lee, never ever work for this man!!
