Is it possible to bring back fruit with you if you have it boxed or properly stored? I have been raving about the pears that they have here and would love to send some home.

I doubt it. Where are you headed? You can buy Korean pears in Canadian supermarkets, elsewhere too I expect, but expensive. Personally I prefer the flavor & juiciness of a nice ripe Bartlett. |

They would be heading to Prince Edward Island, Canada. I've never seen these pears anywhere before. However, I've never looked either. I think they taste awesome.

You cannot bring any fruits or vegetables in or out of korea. Nor can you bring in or out any plants (ie houseplants). But as mentioned above you can get the pears easily in grocery stores or any asian food store.

I just snuck back a whole lot of pesto and honey into Korea. Mind you it's sealed and doesn't have dirt. In general most countries don't let you bring back uncooked products of any kind as it spreads disease.
