|

Hello all!
Looks like I'm heading back to Korea for my third contract after spending a year back in Canada to do a BEd. Spent a few years in Ulsan last time but will be moving to the Kangnam area in Seoul this time round.
Can anyone reccommend some Korean language classes? I am a novice level speaker. I have a solid foundation but I'm looking to get serious about my study. It sounds like my new job will give me a fair amount of free time for study and leisure. I'd love to hear from anyone that has experienced taking Korean classes and can reccommend an institute.
Cheers!

Ewha or Sogang university have the best programs in Korea. you can walk to Sogang from Ewha subway, just go opposite of Ewha University direction. |

I just posted a quick response to an almost identical question on the Question and Answer board. This topic also has a "Sticky" thread with some good options. |

I had a good experience with KLI by Kangnam station. They use the same materials/structure as the Yonsei courses.
Unfortunately, all the materials I have with addresses and contact info are in storage in Korea.
All I can tell you is that the school was up behind the Starbucks (about a half block north and a half block up), on the 5th floor of a building that sat between a coffee shop with an American name and a hair salon.
I hope you can find it, it's a good school!
EDIT: For some reason I thought the OP was looking for classes in the Kangnam area- am I confusing this thread with a similar one? |
