I'm planning on making a trip into Itaewon. A few years ago, there was a sports apparel shop there that sold all kinds of team jerseys for ridiculously dirt cheap prices. Anyone know if it's still there or if other like stores are in business? The last time I was there (again, years ago) I picked up two authentic NBA jerseys for 15,000 won each.

There is a 0% chance of gettin authentic NBA jersey here in Korea for 15,000 won. I get authentic one's mailed from back home ( just got the authentic Chris Bosh jersey in red for Christmas).

But, you CAN get replica jersey's at a store next to BK and another across from MC D's.

There was a commercial on AFN recently warning soldiers not to send counterfeit goods home, as some recent shipments of replica sports jerseys from the base back to the states have been seized by customs. At that price, I would be suspicious of the authenticity, especially in Itaewon.

I regret not buying some of the jerseys I've seen there over the years.

Back in 2002, during the Winter Olympics, one shop had a lot of sweet international hockey jerseys. The Swedish one was just lovely...

I kept saying I would buy one... but never did. Haven't seen them since...

i dunno. it may be hard to find some legit mitchell and ness jerseys, but for some of the nike swingman jerseys...they are legit (they're made in korea...along with some reebok hats and stuff). i love jerseys...although the m&n jerseys are not authentic...they are just as good as the legit ones. the material and stitching are the same.

check out the store next to schlotsky's deli (it has some old skool black track suits in the front window)

He's trying to say Myeongdong market, otherwise known (by people who aren't retarded) as Namdaemun.

[probably]

Those Mitchell and Ness jerseys aren't for real? Damn, they look authentic as hell. I was going to pick one up, but the sizes are all XXL, XXXL, and XXXXXXXXXL. The price tags said 320.00 US, but I didn't ask what they were selling for. I ended up getting a BoSox jersey instead. Man-Ram, baby.

PS - If anyone knows where I can find a Dwyane Wade Heat jersey, holler.

Try them on.
Might fit. If it looks legit, paying 15,000 for an authentic looking jersey is a good deal even if its a tad big.

Its all about those red raptor jerseys, but tough to find any.

They'd look like a dress on me. Seriously.

I miss the good old days when I could pull off the hip-hop look, but my grown-ass man style is prevailing more these days. Do they even make medium-sized jerseys anymore?
