Line #4, one station after Seoul Station (Sookyung? I don't remember). It's free but most people pitch in 1,000 won. It's on Saturdays. Unfortunately it has been over a year since I've attended. Don't remember the exit # or the hours of the class; in the afternoon, that much I remember. The classes were pretty good considering the price. I learned a fair amount. Cute teacher too.
Hopefully someone can give more details. It is listed in the Korean Herald sometimes along with other community stuff. |

If you're in Seoul, grab a copy of the Seoul Classified- there's always a few listings for free English classes in it. If you're not in Seoul, you could try checking at the YMCA- they sometimes offer Korean classes very cheaply .(20-30,000 a year). |

CHEAPSKATE ALERT!! CHEAPSKATE ALERT!!
seriously, whenever I arrange a private Korean lesson, I refuse to pay the person any less than the going rate for private English tuition. Its only fair. You're making good money here. Don't be a skinflint. |

Is there anyone who actually a language exchange work for them? I tried a couple of them and they didn't work out mainly cause the people had no idea about how to teach Korean. |

The location of the free Korean classes near Sookmyeong Women's University Station has recently changed. You can find directions on this website.
