Ok, so Im in Cambodia, and I managed to loss my passport and all id(yes I know, idiot...) and am stranded in this country for a week or so getting a new one. Now heres my problem (apart from the no money, stuck in Cambodia without a Passport thing)...

My new passport will be empty-as in no Work Visa. My contract is still active, but I am now on Vacation until the end of it. What the hell should I do? I dont think S. Korean embassy in Cambodia grants VISAs, and how would I go about getting a new one anyway? ESPECIALLY when its just for basically 2 weeks.

Obviously, the easiest way would be to go in and just get stamped in a visitor, but then how would I claim my pension? (Yes, by all id I mean my alien card as well).

So, ya...a lil bit lost, a whole lot worried, and not sure what exactly to do next. Suggestions?

Any serious advice can be sent to: [email protected] Thanks for any help you can.

I don't know but if there's a Korean consulate in town and if you have the number of your ARC maybe they could help and re-stamp your passport. You should be able to get a new ARC very quickly when you are back.

That sucks man, no advice except if you need me to phone Mr Oh to get your ARC number no problems, they probably have it on file at my school.

Get a replacement ARC at the immgration office. It is also mandatory to report that you have a new passport to them. Failure to do so will result in a fine.

As long as you have an ARC, you are okay. Getting a new one is simple enough and will only cost 10,000 won if I recall correctly.

I can't see why they would reject you on entry. I'm sure there is a way to find you in tehir systems.
