I mean last year they got rid of their friendliest waitress and now
all the girls have been replaced by bored looking guys.!
Geez, place is going to the pits..like a lot of Itaewon |

They all met and married the customers and are living happily everafter in another country! Maybe the male waitresses are hoping for the same thing....any takers!?!?!? |

(Sorry if I appear to be chasing you around the boards this morning, Peppermint  )
While juicy-bar girls don't factor among my dalliances, I've certainly struck up conversations with a waitress or two that, over time, have led to something. Bars like Geckos and airlines the world over generally understand what moves the merchandise best... and that isn't male stewardesses or male waitresses. That's why Krell wonders what's up. |

No, that has to be:
A woman walked into a bar and asked for a double entendre.
So the barman gave her one.
As for Gecko's, there was a huge crowd of young ladies sat in the corner near the dartboard / toilets when I was there. So maybe the policy has some advantages.

I think you have hit upon it. Male bartenders bring in female customers. Having female customers, brings in male customers. Simple fact, but very true. It is good for business and works well in Korea. |

not in ITAEWON! where the majority of men are foreigners and looking for some K action.. so it would be smarter to have all female wait staff!
have the female waitresses for the punters to look at and talk about and watch her behind walk off back to the bar! creates business!
korean bar tenders in ITAEWON do not attract korean girls to the bar!
ok ok maybe a VERY small %.. TINY! |
