If I remember correctly, d503 was looking for a practice partner to help brush up her Russian and I was thinking about doing the same. I'm kinda scared about it tho cuz I haven't practiced any Russian in...oh....5 years....

It's pretty sad considering I was a Russian immersion student and studied the language for 12 years.

There are lots of Russians in Korea and they have their own community clubs and halls with meetings/dinners. They'd probably be more than happy to have you come visit. I've met a few Russians here and I was invited to a social gathering once but wasn't able to attend.

Just remember 'skolka stoyit', 'speceeb(f)a' and be able to count to ten (use your fingers) and you can get by fine in Russian. Being able to read the Karelian alphabet also helps.
