Yobeseyo!! Hello fellow health-minded persons. I have just moved to Daegu. I am a vegetarian that is in desperate need of protein. I am looking for Protein powder, preferably Soy Protein Powder, but will settle for whey at this point.
Does anyone know where I can purchase Protein Powder online in Korea (english website so I can maneuver around) or somewhere in Daegu to buy, possibly a health shop!
Thank you!
Much Appreciated!!
Hugs,

Every health club I've worked out in sells the stuff. Just find a health club and ask. They may have to order it for you. Just pronounce is pu-ro-teen-uh. |

Hi 'spen
You can buy whey protein in Daegu at "Health Point" which is just outside od Anjirang subway station exit #1. Just come out out exit #1 and walk straight ahead about 50 meters. It is a small shop on your right hand side. Look for the posters of bodybuilders....gaaah....
The prices are not good...W120,000 for a large tub of whey protein...prices are better in Seoul at Namdaemun market....do a search here for supplements and you will find it. Perhaps ordering from overseas is a better option.
BTW, welcome to Daegu!

Muchos Gracias Senor Pink and Shawner!!
I am going to check out the health shop this weekend, that you suggested Shawner!! Thanks!
I work out at the World Arena Gym in Siji, so will give it a try as you suggested Pink in attempting to order Protein Powder. Do not know much Korean, so I'm sure it will be confusing.
Do both of you live in Daegu?? I am newbie, just arrived three and half weeks ago! Pretty good so far! Have been to Pusan and Seoul, loved them both! Great cities!!
Thanks again for the info!! |
