I am seriously considering living and teaching in Jejudo for my 2nd contract in S.Korea. Can anyone give me some feedback on life in Jejudo?

Thanks in advance Smile

Jejudo is a great place to live if you like small cities and the outside. There aren't a lot of western comforts down here that you can fall back on if you need to. The island is great for beaches, mountain hiking, caving, biking and motorcycling. The expats down here are for the most part cool (though there are some that are complete ****** ****** ***** ***** and then some, which is the same as anywhere). The entertainment is sometimes lacking, but there are a few theatres that play western movies, a couple of CD shops, and a few concerts come around. The nightlife could use a bit of help, but it's cool. You just get used to the same places unless you like going into a bar and being the only foreigner.

If you have any specific questions, feel free to PM me and I'll answer what I can. I've lived down here for over a year and love it (except that I'm a big city guy and need to move to Seoul or Busan for a couple of years).
