anyone ever gone there? how expensive was it?

and when i say expensive, how much could one spend in one hour of shooting?

Quite expensive, in my opinion. A .45 mag would probably run around 25 or 30,000won per full cylinder. Glock's are probably more as the clips can hold a lot of ammo.
They have a nice selection of pistols, and I believe shotguns as well...but you could chew through a lot of coin in one hour.

Read an article in Seoul Classified a few months ago. A Korean businessman they interviewed would go in and drop 100,000won or so in a relatively short amount of time, but claimed it was worth it every cent.

Worth a measely 100,000 once a month if you are somewhat serious about guns and want to hear the sound of a proper cannon!

I think they also had an address for paintball in the S. Classified. See if I can locate it again. I'll post it when I find it.

I went there with my fiance, and as Harvard Material said, it was about 30,000 won per full round...we were only there for about five minutes! Not worth it, like it was said, unless you're completely trigger-happy.
But I'm happy to brag here that I outscored my fiance, who was once in the Korean special forces! Maybe I should consider sniper-school

wow. that's pricey. my buddy back home is a gun safety instructor. maybe i'll just wait till holidays, i can do the 'korean businessman' thing times five for about 30 bucks with him. AND i get to shoot an M-16...

they did indeed have a big selection though, i got a brochure of theirs, it was all in korean but it didn't have any prices. .45s, sig sauers, berettas, glocks... fun.

For all of you avid travellers/weapons lovers, Thailand is a great place to shoot. If any of you are considering a trip there in the next year or so look up the ranges they offer! Fully automatic weapons, huge selection of hand guns, etc...at a fraction of the cost here in Seoul. You can barter the price with the range in question in a lot of cases. Can't blame the range for wanting to get the most out of foreign customers, but they are open to discussion to seal the deal.
Considering the strict gun laws in Korea it isn't really any surprise that the hobby would be quite expensive. Makes sense to me; for people who want to feel the thrill of a .45 magnum bucking in their hands it would be worth 30 or 60,000won for the experience. Maybe not a daily hobby, but once or twice a month?

And if you're incredibly trigger-happy, I've heard that in Cambodia you can shoot fully automatic rifles at livestock.

Thailand is good but China is better. There are ranges where you can go and fire artillery rounds as well as small arms....and cheap cheap cheap.

Yeah...Cambodia is kind of extreme. You can pay for a cow and a rocket-launcher. Around $100.00 or a bit more. A waste of food and life in my humble opinion. I suppose you can use any weapon you want, but I feel inanimate targets should be used in all cases of hobby shooting. A car, truck, rotted-out army tank in a field? That's great! A cow??
Don't do that please...unless you intend to pick up the scraps and eat them. Give a Cambodian $10.00 for food instead - not $100.00 to destroy food.

My first gun was a pellet gun, when I turned 12 years old. The first day I sacked myself a beautiful, healthy Robin; plugged him twice in the chest! Walked up to my dad all proud and said "DAD! Look what I got!!" He said "You gonna' eat that now?" I said "...nooo?" He said "Maybe you should." Got my ass tanned and didn't get to shoot that gun again for about a year.

Eat what you shoot, or shoot inanimate objects.
