pusan web has links to the korea bridge forums.
They have some part-time work listed there, but I don't know if there will be anything in your area.

www.eslteachersboard.com is alright and free for employers to post ads on so is probably going to take over as the leading site soon. |

It's been almost a year since I last looked at eslteachersboard.com, but the reason that I stopped is that my virus scan software went berserk every time I visited the website. Have things changed?
Also, I question whether or not it will soon become the leading site. "Leading Site" is determined, to a large degree, by traffic on the site and that has very little to do with whether or not it is free to post ads. Good employers post jobs on the sites that yield results regardless of whether they have to pay a little bit of money to post an ad.
If anything, the fact that they don't charge to post ads shows that they currently don't get as much traffic as they want and are doing things to try to boost traffic. Dave didn't charge to post ads back when he was getting started. It wasn't until the traffic on this site became sizable that he started to charge. |

I would expect for Worknplay to inherit the volume of PT job-seekers, before eslteachersboard, considering they already have a strong following for that sort of work. |

prosodic, I agree with you, but the fact that an employer can simply view resumes without going through any hassle makes it appealing. That is why the other website was so popular for teachers looking for part time work as well as employers looking for fill in teachers.
I use Dave's all the time and so does my employer, but one of the draw backs from his point of view is that he pays the $75 dollars without even knowing if any of the potential resumes he'll be viewing are worth viewing at all. There could be twenty new resumes posted on a given day and perhaps only half of those are from teachers looking for a job in Korea and perhaps only a handful of those fit the bill as to what he's looking for. The website that shut down was useful from both perspectives because it allowed employers to quickly browse through all the resumes, photos, etc. and then if they found something they liked they paid the $15 to access that person's information. |
