Not sure if it's available elsewhere but Walmart just started carrying macaroni and cheese as well as shells/cheese, Walmart Brand for 3,000 won per box. I had some tonight. Fisrt time I had it in years. Tasted good...nice and thick and creamy cheese, not the powder kind. No milk needed, but I added a little.

Sorry for bursting your bubble, but it's less than 9000 won for a case of 12 packages at Cosco. Sorry for rubbing it in, but it tastes just like Kraft Dinner/Macaroni and Cheese.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Cosco is a not a very convenient place to get to by most people. Also, these are big boxes (12 oz 340 grams). Hate to rub it in, but this kind tastes better than Kraft because it's not a powder mix. The cheese is thick! Finally, meet me on the playground after school at 3:00 chump.

Yes. 4 servings. However, I ate half the box before I was full.

Yeah, those things look and taste quite almost exactly sorta a bit like the Velveeta shells; they carry 'em in both shell and macaroni noodle formats.

They've had 'em at the Bucheon Wal-Mart for the last couple two years, and there was a period where I overdid it with 'em, so my fixation with the mac and cheese has officially died off. Still good once in a while if I actually use a little moderation (not one of my strong points)...

Now I'm all about making tha tacos (not too tough after a Hannam Mart visit) and the pyrohy (time consuming, and I hate kneading freakin' dough). Other than those two, I've now mostly gotten over my home food fixations. Oh yeah, except for Pizza Pops... Anyone who knows where I can hook those up gets my first-born kid.

I put it in my mouth, chew for a while, then swallow. There are plenty of other foods out there that are pale imitations of the original version. Have you ever had a plate of proper, homemade, mac and cheese? I know I sure have, and I also know that this stuff is a very quick and filling fix...especially when it's selling for like only 33% mark-up.

Well, good for you if you like it. I've had it and it wasn't my cup of tea. The cheese wasn't very appetizing coming out of the enveloppe. It looked to me like shortening that had been dyed yellow. I didn't really care for the taste either; although, I thought it was better than other macaroni and cheese products I've tried in Korea.

Gosh. That must ruin his day, knowing he could have bought a $30 costco membership to save $2.75 on a food product you might only have a taste to eat once or twice a year for old times sake. Oh if we could all be such wise consumers!

If you eat 12 boxes of KD during your year in Korea, you probably shouldn't be here in the first place. Really, I'll cough up $6 to eat a box of KD twice a year in Korea.
