I have 3 movie channels. OCN. CGV. and another-- I forget the name right now. And AFN and Discovery. (And Arirang which I almost never watch.)

I had better TV in Yongin. Now I'm in Songpa gu. I find it strange the channels seem to be different everywhere. Even the guy next door might have different channels.

Discovery is a good one. Movies are good too.

I love eChannel. It has "Smallville" and other recent shows and documentaries from the U.K. "OnStyle" has SaTC and cooking shows.

Really, these days I just get torrents of TV shows I'm missing in the States, mainly "Lost", "Good Eats", and the new "Battlestar Galactica."

e channel is good as is XTV, Onstyle is OK. I also find Discovery OK. I do stick though to AFN and CNN, though I'd kill to get BBC World.

Like other people I now pretty much download what I want via bit torrent, Lost, Law and Order, Desperate Housewives and The OC are my favs

Its available online -- www.cdmatv.com carries it.
Its the last item on the tv pulldown menu in the upper left, #400. Once you have it on the tiny screen, a double click should pull it up fullscreen. A bit jerky but watchable.
Arirang also carries their world news & a couple other things, a couple times a day.

I've nothing. Nothing.

The price of cable for our apartment block went up a whole 2000 won a month. So the big fellas downstairs decided that the price was to expensive and decided therefore that no one in this huge apartment complex was going to have any TV anymore.

I've got a feeling that one of the people on the apartment board has stocks in "Sky Life," because there was a salesmen down at the bottom of the hill for ages making a small fortune.

I didn't get it. When we looked into it you had to sign a three year contract for it, and I couldn't get my boss to understand that I wanted TV, so we just do without now.

Thank God for the internet.

BBC World, Discovery, and Cartoon Network --

And you're complaining that you can't get badly produced PSAs on sexual harrassment in the workplace and news on which Army company had a charity weenie roast?

I watch more Korean language TV than AFN.

Some of us (me, really) spend HOURS and TONS OF BANDWIDTH downloading what you get to watch in real time! Wink

Is SkyLife TV worth it? I hear it's about W50,000 per month and over W100,000 to have installed.
