Hello, all-

This is the bossiest thread I have ever posted, but hey....

I am supposed to read a newspaper article in Korean for a Korean class (at university in the U.S.). I want the article to have an anthropological bent: on Chinese-Korea cultural relations (the "Korean wave" pop culture silliness is okay), Chinese tourism in Korea or vice versa, child adoption in/out of Korea, childhood in Korea. The catch is that is has to be kind of short, or at least not too grammatically complex, because I'm only in my second-year of study....

I know it's a tall order, but can one of you nice people find an article online for me? I've looked but my searching abilities in Korean are not up to snuff. Yes, it's very lazy of me, but if any one of you is bored at work I would really appreciate your help.

Your reward: I will buy you a beer in Seoul when I'm there in the summer. If you don't live in Seoul, I'll mail you a beer (is that legal?).

Hm...it's a bit tough. I found a large number of articles but they're all super long. You know the area in China called with the archaeological remnants from ? That's always in the news. The thing below is the shortest I could find on it.

Another thing you could do is check yourself, go to www.google.co.kr, click on and then maybe use some of the words
߰
ȭ (Chinese-born Koreans)
߱
ܵ, ɾ (lots of ȭ there)
 (archaeological sites)

That's about perfect, Mith, thank you!

It's long compared to the textbook lessons but I need to read more "real" Korean anyway...and it looks interesting.

Thanks again!
