|
|
Quick Question:
Does anyone have any experience getting their E2 in Taiwan? If so how easy was it? It is easy to find the consulate (Embassy/Korean mission) there?
I'm just worried that they might not be as prepared for dealing with E2 visas as say Fukuokoa or Osaka. I've found cheap tickets to Taiwan, but don't want to commit myself to them until I'm sure that I can get my visa work done there.
I'd appreciate any advice that anyone can give me.[/b] |

I'm not an expert on this, but I would be highly surprised if Korea has a consulate or actual place you can obtain your Korean work visa from in Taiwan, because Korea does not officially reckonize Taiwan as an independent country. Even if they have a "Korean tourist relations centre" or some other thinly-disguised consulate, it won't be as streamlined and easy as the consulates in Fukuoka or Osaka. |

Shawner88 did a visa run to Taiwan also last year.
See what he has to say about the experience. |
