hello all, I am doing a health and safety day at my school. The idea came to me when I realized my kids had no idea about firesafety! This is a very serious issue to me, and i would like to focus on that topic, but i would also like to introdude other safety ussues with my kids. I plan for it to be an all day event, i already have some ideas but as kindergarteners get bored very easily i know it needs to be very hands on and creative.
Has anyone done someting similar at their hogwan before? I know in Canada you can have a local firefighter come iun and talk to the kids or even go for a tour of the station. Is it possible for this to be arranged here as well?
Any interesting activities that you could think of or other safety issues that yout hink should be addressed as well? I feel this is very important and is not discussed it the school system very much. Any help or input would be grteatkly appreciated! thanks in advance!

My son's kindergarten went to the local firehall. They were given a tour, had their pictures taken dressed as firefighters and sat on the trucks. However, the highlight was they got to play with the firehoses!

Of course, it is all in Korean so I am not sure how much English will be learned from this kind of event, but I am sure you can figure something out!
