Feel free to add to this. I'll write down things whenever they come to mind.
Here's what you do if you want more than ten visitors a day to your page:

-When logging in, do this: first type in the name of your page (www.cyworld.com/yourname) and then the page will come up. Look at who visited, see what's new. Then close it again, type in www.cyworld.com and log in from there. You'll see your little guy on the top left, click on ̴Ȩ and load up the page from there. If you log in that way then going to another person's page or going to a random page will bring up a new window, leaving your page alone and unadulterated. That's a good way to answer people - you can write an answer in on your , then click on their name, bring up their page, write the same thing on their page, and just click on the bottom to bring up your window again.

-Get some music and a background. If you don't have any 丮s, ask people directly or put a request for something in your Ҹ (wish box). Some kind people might decide to buy you something if you put it in there.

-Try to keep as few sections in your Խ and ø as possible. The reason why is that you can go to the main page of cyworld.com, go to the bottom where ׸ is and select themes for each section. Places that have a lot of content automatically get put on the top that way. For example, I've got a section on my page devoted to angel pictures, so I picked - Ÿ (religion - other) as the theme for that section. I've got some 50 pictures of angels which I think is the 6th most for that theme, so when people go to and Ÿ they can see my name there and come to the page.

-Click on Ȩ and have fun looking at people's pages. Leave messages on the pages of people you think are interesting (=hot).

-Make sure you have a big picture of yourself on the front. Images of objects are boring. Personal is better.

-Make sure you write out a .

-After you log in, go to the main page and down a little, there you can find ã. Use that to search for people you know the names and birthdates (just the year) of and see if they have a page too. But if your friend's name is and was born in 1980, you're out of luck - you'll have to search through a few hundred s. ̴ٿ or some name like that should prove easier.

That's true...a lot of people go around randomly saying
"Hi, I'm a foreigner on Cyworld. Come see my page!"
but there's nothing to see....! Surprised

ƴ ׳...
That reminds me, during my travels I've written down the addresses of any pages that strike me (90% of which are because they're cute). Now I think I have a few hundred in my notebook. I haven't looked at any of them a second time but they were all super cute.
Oh but that's not why I use Cyworld... Embarassed

I heard some foreigners had got korean friend's to join them up, so I got my gf to help me. Turns out that as she already has a page, she can't make another one for me. The alternative is too scan my passport or alien card or driver's license and email it to them... f**k that, I really don't think I can be bothered

But I like my picture of 21 bottles of beer...

I don't know why everyone else has so much trouble signing up for Cyworld. A part-timer who was here during the summer just clicked on something for me and I was on my way.

Why not have the gf/bf make a special section for you on her/his page. Is that possible?
