Korea's Inflation Highest Among OECD Nations
The nation showed one of the world's highest consumer inflation rates last year due to soaring raw materials prices and high labor costs. According to the National Statistical Office (NSO), the nation's consumer inflation rate was 3.6 percent in 2004, 1.4 times larger than the average rate of 2.5 percent among 30 OECD member countries.
