So my teachers were the happiest teachers in gyeonggi do after I bought some mini pain aux chocolat from costco into school today. I had two big boxes and between 20 of them present they devoured it (about 30 mini buns) within a few minutes. Every few days someone in my school is bringing someithing into snack on. I've seen such an obssession with snacks before.

hey it was you who brought in all the cakes- don't go pointing fingers at other people!

I see what you mean though- it takes very little for the guys in the office to go to the nearest Ministop and come back with bags of crisps, chocopies, corn puffs and bottles of coke.
Also, drinking booze without having at least a few nibbles is just not done. Boy I'd love a slice of the pringle business out here.

yeah or some sort of mini muffin place. The art to snacking is that the snacks are in bite size portions. For instance my female co-workers would never eat a whole donuit but are very happy to eat 6 mini donuts and not think anything of it. Thus when giving snacks size matters.

Let's not have any of that vulgar "snacking on muffins" talk in here. You're in the presence of a lady now.

Damn this thread brought back some good memories.

Did I mention I got kicked out of Boy Scouts for eating Brownies?

had a funny experience the other day.....

walked into class, and all 10 students are chewing gum staring at me. the hideous smacking sounds were just starting to flip me out when they offered me a piece, too, making it impossible to ban the chewing. I just smiled and started to chew as loudly and carefree as possible.

At my old hagwon, the parents were bringing stuff in everyday for us. I would walk in the staff room and there on the desk was a strange aloe drink for a each of us, or an entire cake or who knows what! I loved it, but I ate a lot more junk that I would have ate at home.
