Does anyone know if any of the Korean networks are showing this one? Would be cool to see how they get on against the big boys of Asian football.

Cheers

A Korean game (even if North) against Japan? On New Year's Day?

OF COURSE it'll be on t.v.

I have no doubt.

The ROK team are also playing, that is why I asked. I just thought given the tensions between NK and Japan, this one would be more interesting.

Cheers

Japan v North Korea is on Skylife Star Sports (and also the Japanese cable channel NHK-BS1) at 7:30pm.

South Korea v Kuwait is on KBS2 at 8pm, but I believe they'll be showing the first 30 minutes of the North Korea game first.

This should be an interesting game.

Actually, two of the North Korean players were born in Japan and currently play in the J league.

I am sure they will pass along some info.

The Japanese really don't know what to expect from the N. Koreans.

Maybe a few kidnapped Japanese will show up on the North's roster Rolling Eyes

The 'Red Devils' supporters group were busy today setting up their card section - 170 folk went along to help, and also to tape little bags of toilet roll onto the backs of the seats.

It's the truth Wink

Do you know Mato Neretljak, the Hajduk Split defender? Suwon thought they'd signed him, registered him in their A3 Champions Cup squad but must have forgotten to actually tell him he was coming as he went and signed a new contract with Hajduk instead.

Ooops.

Europe are only qualifiers this week. OOPS I mean friendlies.

I remember something like that. It was a while ago though, wasn't it? A year or two?

I'm embarrased because Hajduk is my team Embarassed

But why have the word "Serbia" in your sig?

It's the first game in the final round of Asian qualifying... South Korea are in a group with Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan. North Korea are grouped with Japan, Iran and Bahrain.

Top two from each group qualify for 2006, and the two third-placed teams play off to face a CONCACAF side in a playoff.
