Anyone use a house cleaner or have phone numbers of a company/ people who do this? Just looking for someone to come in a clean for one hour or two once or twice a week. Any ideas on rates or people who do this?

Thanks!

I've done it only once, here on the island. Paid a meagre 30,000 won for two ajumma to clean everything from dishes, microwave, fridge (including behind it), walls, windows, bathroom, everything. The windows weren't perfectly done, but I got more than my money's worth.

We use the YWCA, they have women that are registered with them, so we can trust them enough to leave them with keys etc.

Thanks!

Tzechuk,
How much does the YWCA charge for the cleaning and do you have a schedule time when they come or do you just call when you need it?

Thanks again!

I think the going rate is still 20,000 for 3 hours - we pay more though because we have a cat and wanted to compensate the ajuma...

We have a set time for her to come..she has keys so we needn't stick around.

Go ask your local budongsan. They know cleaning ladies. I think the going rate is as low as W8,000 per hour. I also know a few girls that will come over and...Wait, you're a chick aren't you?
