I would like to give a shout out to a great beauty shop in COEX called dashing diva. It's a bright pink store, you really can't miss it.

The place is between the food court and the bandi and lunis book store. They did a good job on my nails after I had one break off half way down the nail bed as the result of bad maincure at a local store. The staff at diva's managed to salavage what's left of the nail that so that it can grow out again.

They also do waxes, and seem to know their stuff. They did a really good job on shaping my friends eyebrows. It's about the same price or a little cheaper than the turtle shop in itaewon. The owner speaks good english and most of the stlyists speak some english.

The place is very clean, and actually shock horror have sterlizers for their nail stuff which I haven't seen at most salons here.

Has anyone found a place that understands - and can properly implement - the concept of lowlights?

The best place i've been for hair is the turtle place above bk in itaewon. They get a lot of forgeingers in there so they know our hair. There are people who speak english, too. Don't know what other experiences of them have been but after numerous hair dos, dyes, and don'ts these guys have always given me a good color (though keep an eye on them when they cut as they love chopping off way more hair then they should) so I'm willing to give them a plug.

They have a Tony and Guy in Apgujong-dong! I haven't been but a friend went and her perm looked good. Pricey though.
