Any other Torontonians out there with this problem?
Apparently Toronto doesn't issue multiple entry visas.
So what hapens if you want to leave the country on vacations and then return?

Anyone who's had to do this...any help is appreciated Smile Thanks!

I don't think that canadians get multi reentry visas. When you get your ARC card you can your re-entry permit done then. Just got to pay some more money for it.

Only single re-entry visas may be purchased at the airport? If you are not making one trip out of Korea per year, just get that at the airport.

I'm not so sure about that. I'm a Canadian, and I got my multiple re-entry in October.

OP: I was a bit confused about it myself the first time I came here, but basically the E2 visa is a single-entry visa, only. After you register at immigration and pick up your alien card, you can then purchase a multiple re-entry or single re-entry visa. The 're' part is the key difference.

Not giving Canadians mulitple re entry visas ever would be totally counter productive. We like to travel as much as anyone else, and it would probably lead to a lot more people taking advantage of the extended tourist visas.

The guy was wrong. I am Canadian and upgraded to a multiple entry two weeks ago. W50,000 at the City Hall imm office.

Again, just to avoid any confusion, the key is re-entry. This has to be purchased *after* you have already entered Korea and have already obtained your alien card.

You can't get a multiple entry visa once you leave the country. If you leave the country without obtaining a re-entry visa the visa is cancelled.

The multiple entry visa is only issued in Korea to my knowledge. I got my visa issued in Daegu about 3 weeks ago for 50,000 won.
