My board is a phpbb board like this one, hosted by www.netfreehost.com and so far everything's working out all right. The encoding is set to Western European though, so even though the Korean doesn't get into a garbled mess like this place used to, you always have to keep re-selecting the encoding. I can't seem to find a place to edit the header of the page anywhere in the admin...otherwise I could just put that little bit in a <META> tag and everything would be all right...

Perhaps I'll ask them too (netfreehost.com). Am I missing something on the admin area of my board? |

you'll need to edit the HTML of your template and that option should be available to you as admin. You're right that you need a META tag but it will be in your HTML head, not the PHP script. I had a similar issue when I had a board in japan and that solved it. |
