I guess most of us have lost data from time to time. The most common cause would almost certainly be a virus attack. Of course if we backed up regularly it wouldn't be such a problem. But we don't always ..... do we ???

My question is ........... what is the most serious loss of data you have suffered ?

I'll start the ball rolling by telling you about my loss. Last year my computer was hit by a virus and I lost ................ my collection of funny writings and logos from Koreans kids' ( and adults' ) Tee shirts. It had taken 3 years to accumulate all that data.

To say I was devastated would be a serious understatement.

I learned my lesson from that tragedy. Now I back up regularly onto two CDs. One I keep here in Korea, the other I post to friends in Australia.
