PLEASE HELP!!!!! I want to audio capture a simple song from a cd to use as the audio track to my video, but it is telling me that I need to use a compatible audio format. What is the right format that I must use? I never had this problem with Apple's Final Cut Pro (it automatically saved it in quicktime - and quicktime is not compatible with Premiere).

.mp3 won't work. You need to covert it (or export it) to a .wav file. Those will import.

Do a search on Google for a free program called, "Goldwave," which will do that. There are many others. Or look at www.downloads.com for something free that will convert .mp3 to .wav

You could also use audacity to convert your mp3's to wav or whatever format you need.
