This is a little off-topic but it is degree/ |
After you get the number you make a quick trip to your local Korean consulate and get the visa placed into your passport. Next day you get on the plane and head over here.
From visa confirmation number to plane ride is usually 2-7 days (dependant on how you send your passport to the consulate). 2-3 days if you do it in person and 7 days if you use a delivery service.
The bad news is that there is NO guarantee until you get the visa in your passport. |
Thanks for the reply.
So what could be some possible reasons for rejection of my application after the confirmation number has been issued?
I know that my employer is already booking a seat on the plane for me right now but has not heard back about the confirmation number yet....
Cheers, |

Walking into the consulate smelling of POT is one that I know of that happened and resulted in a refusal.
Saying nasty things to the consular officer is another one that will get your visa refused.
Use common sense and you should be fine... but common sense is often in short supply - having common sense is one thing that is decidedly uncommon. |

C-o-mm-on...sens-e...?
Haha - thanks for the heads up!
I just wanted to figure out at what point it would be best to quit my job here. I suppose having the confirmation number will have to do!
Thanks again - the next time I post should be when I'm in Korea!

Good day.
A little random Question, but...
How much work is there in terms of Industrial and Organizational Psychology in South Korea?
Also, if anyone has any information regarding how to register as an Industrial and Organizational Psychologist in South Korea, please share it with me.
Thank you. |

I will have a Masters Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology next year. Will that help?
I am learning Korean, yes, but not yet fluent.
Please, tell me where can I get more information on I/O Psychology registration in Korea?
Thank you for your time. |
