That would be fun. I was just chatting with somebody and I thought that some of the things would be worth posting.
Like these two lines. These are two people, one is me. Who seemsto like the other one better?

That's all right, so's your language. My other Scottish friend thinks it's hilarious when people think they can talk like a Scot and then he shows them what they really sound like.

Shocked
Surprised
What?!
I should know being a MacLeod and all but no-one educated me and I remain bland...

Err, she wishes the day you meet would come quickly and you don't like your mouthwash? Sounds like a very private conversation to me, is it supposed to make sense?

You don't know the half of it.

Drink with a group of Glaswegians (not those other sheep-shaggers, i.e. anyone from outside Glasgow), and you will have a new appreciation for clarity in communication. Fine for us natives, but hell for other people. Most aggressive accent, and the headbutts don't help either...reserved for English individuals and/or Protestants...depending on which side of the whole Celtic/Rangers divide you rest on...

That's right! See, we could do that a lot on the Korean language forum if it ever gets made. Not just asking each other grammar questions.
It was from a private conversation but there are no names and nothing personal. It was coincidence that the two lines were together but I thought wow, does that ever make me look like a cold SOB.

Try the orange mouthwash- kinda citrusy. Makes for a nice change from the occasionally tree-flavored stuff. Weird though, cuz the bottle says something to the effect that it's even good for kids! Shocked

Anyways, try the orange stuff. Just resist any urge to drink it.

Laughing I like the new twist on 'people don't agree with some of my opinions'.

Take it to Jaebea, & let him propose it to others, then Dave.

When I first came to the site ('96), people didn't use the boards so much - LP was much more popular. Here, a handful of us regularly used the chat module; there were Koreans as well, but they had to use English - other languages weren't supported (for good reasons).

I think it is a good idea, BUT you would pretty much have to have a couple of truly bilingual mods to keep an eye on things.

A small group of dedicated posters kept the whole mod team and board on edge last year; imagine what a pissed-off k netizen group could do.

I think it is a good idea - gets my support. Just have to run it up the & through the right channels.

Regards,

Glen

Just bought the orange stuff. It's not as strong as I thought but feels surprisingly fresh after using it. Maybe I'll stick with it for a while.
