Hey all, like most my scooter has become like a left arm that actually has some use. I need it to get around almost everyday.
BUt on those pesky days when it pours like a MOFO I still want to get out there. Some of my "errands" would take me forever on pub transport. 25 by scooter 45 by Sub/Taxi...

Anyways, where do those delivery guys get those nifty outfits?????

They must keep dry they are on those things 24/7

Thanks

You can buy those lovely outfits (fyi, they trap heat in well....so be prepared to sweat) in the little markets (where clothes, food, et cetera are sold) in the areas that are frequented by ajoshis and ajummas.

The places usually sell umbrellas...I don' t recall the actual name of the type of store...but the name "yang-oo-sa" () rings a bell.

If you ask a local to take you (or at least give directions) that would make it so much easier on you, because I've seen them is so many different areas.

Chungmuro area. That's where they sell a lot of motorcycles. Many of the shops that sell helmets sell those. Mine was maybe 30,000 won.

Beware that Korean zippers are often backwards, and generally break quickly.
