I was informed this morning by the principal of the elementary school where I work, that I will have to do a spring camp beginning two days from today; lots of planning time there. I'm still in recovery from all the delights of winter camp. I am less-than-pleased with this news. Anyone else have to do this? Is this a common occurence in elementary schools here...having these underschooled kids who have far too much free time on their hands attend spring camps during what is supposed to be their spring break? |

Fun.. you are on GEPIK, I assume?
I am not with that program, but my job is funded by Kyonngi (private hs).
At least someone is starting to say "SPRING!"
I was getting bored with winter. |

Hahaha! Finally my job looks better than a GEPIK one!
To the OP- Ask them what you should do with your (imaginary) plane ticket to Thailand then? ( dunno if it will work, but it's worth trying) |

Yes, I am one of the joyfully accursed GEPIK minions. You've got to love it...when you're not hating it.
Good suggestion about the imaginary Thailand ticket. Trouble is, I just got back from an overseas trip, involving a very seriously ill family member. They had given me seven days compassionate leave so I'm not really in any position to spring a pretend trip on them (despite the fact that they sprung a spring camp on me). So, while I'm not thrilled, I'm just going to suck it up; it's only a week after all. Spring...tra la la, and all that. |

Yes, Spring is truly upon us and that inch of snow that fell this morning proves it, by God! |
