Six Teachers Indicted in Exam Scandal
The prosecution on Tuesday indicted six teachers for their involvement in an exam scandal and tutoring on behalf of a former prosecutor's son in a high school in southeastern Seoul. The Seoul Dongbu District Public Prosecutors�� Office also accused a teacher at Paichai High School, identified as Oh, of filling in an exam answer sheet for a boy, identified as Chung. The office also indicted the boy's father, an ex-prosecutor, without detention for illegally transferring Chung to the prestigious school.

[Real Reality]

Seoul prosecutors indicted a high school teacher yesterday allegedly involved last year in manipulating academic records of the son of a Seoul prosecutor. Mr. Oh claims he changed the records out of pity for the student, who had a hard time adjusting to the school. Mr. Oh had received free legal advice from the prosecutor before.
