I am getting my laptop replaced from Dell after it was stolen from my place last month and I was wondering how much it would cost to ship it over to Korea. I am lucky that I was still covered for insurance. I just have to figure out how much it is approximately to ship it to Korea from Canada. Does anyone have any idea? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Most likely you'll have to pay import duties on it too. |

Try to get it mailed to your school addy. Have them address it to you by name plus TEACHER after your name. Educational resources can be imported without duty and this might be enough to let it get by customs without you having to pay some huge amount in duty. |

I had a laptop shipped to my school from Florida recently. I paid no duty and shipping via USPS Global Express--it took four days--was about $70. This doesn't apply to the OP, but for those who have access to the USPS: Global Express is handled under contract by FEDEX at rates lower than regular FEDEX... |
