|
|
Wondering if anyone has more info on GNB schools. I did a search and what I found was primarily negative. I understand that it is a cheap franchise and that each school is owned individually and there are issues with the text books. The ones that I am interested in are on Geoje island in Gohyeun. I would work at both schools and would be the first and only teacher. The hours sound good and the pay is average etc.
Also has anyone dealt with a recruiter named Bridget from RBI?
Any information would be greatly appreciated. |

is the recruiter named Matthew Kim? people have said he runs a racket under different company names. his job ads as well as his emails give me the feeling that i can't trust him. |

I think GnB may be the biggest of them all.
They are everywhere. |

One good thing about GnB's is that they have Korean home teachers and they bear prime responsibility for everything.
Their much vaunted "patented" system doesn't work and none of the students can say "I'm fine, thanks. And you?"
The textbooks are too short for the time allotted, so be prepared to be inventive. |

My boyfriend worked at GnB in Gumi. They treated him very well. He was happy. |

i worked for a GnB in ilsan and it was good enough. i didn't have to teach their program though....that makes a big difference i think.
yeah, and whoever said their system sucks is totally right. my students' english was so poor, through no fault of their own; they worked hard and had good teachers.
everything depends on the directors. |
