Im in Fukuoka at the moment and Ive had an idea (i dont get them very often so bare with me).

Is there anyway that we could scrape together the money for a communal bicycle and combination lock.It could be kept locked up at the ferry terminal and picked up there by anyone going on a visa run. Then they could lock it up and leave it for the next person. The combination could be PM d and people could book ahead to reserve the bike on an ongoing thread.

The obvious advantage is that anyone going on a visa run would save bundles in cash from taxis, subways and buses and also get some wheels for the night to poodle around Fukuoka with (a great cycling city)

What do you think?...wouldnt cost much...no wheelies or bunny hops allowed though!
