I'm trying to decide which intensive program to enroll in. I know this has been covered in other threads, but I'm asking about Ewha's program specifically (since sogang, yonsei, snu, etc. have been covered extensively).
How does Ewha compare with Sogang? I want a 4-skills class with a bit more emphasis on conversation, but still having a supportive element of grammar. From what it sounds like, Sogang is very very heavy on the conversation element (at the expense of the other skills?) Can anyone who has taken Ewha comment on their intensive program? |

| I don't know about actually attending ihwa's program, but with my Korean teacher in Australia we used the ihwa text book 1 and 2 for about 2 years and it was good - not perfect, but good. It had a good mix of skills (grammar, conversation, writing etc) and it wasn't boring (but that might be because I had a great teacher). I've enrolled in Sogang though, I'm starting in March. |

I've enrolled in the Ewha program starting in March. Its not the intensive but I'll still post my thoughts on it after a while.
(this post did nothing to help you, sorry) |

Thanks for the replies. I myself am trying to decide which I should attend for the semester starting in March. Anyone know about Ewha firsthand? Or secondhand...any information at all... |
