As mentioned in the link, multi-vitamins, as they are very expensive here.
If you are big, tall, long, wide, etc..bring plenty of clothes that fit. I have yet to find Korean shirts that fit my long dangly arms.
A bag of Cheetos for me |

I've been here too long. I can either find what I want or I've forgotten what it tasted like in the first place. I do know where to get Cheetos though, and not even on a base. |

Enough shoes to last you your time here, especially if you're female. It doesn't matter if you have asian-sized feet. I fit into Korean shoes, but not happily. Most are rather hideous and painful. |

Spices. Dump your spice cabinet into your suitcase because they're hard to find here.
Also, if you have big feet not only shoes, but also slippers. You may need them for work, because many schools and hogwons are "shoes off" zones. |

HA! I did exactly that. One of the smartest moves I did before coming here.
BTW - I have some extra chili if anyone's in Ansan.
What do I wish I had brought --?
More of my books. Everything else I have found here or have had sent to me. |

bring some decent sports socks if you like wearing them... boxer briefs and boxers if you're into those too... they only have "panties" for guys in korea... bring your laptop if you have one, saves u the trouble of going to smoke filled PC rooms... if you're a pretty boy like me you'll need lots of hair product (actually you can get some decent stuff here but if you're accustomed to a certain brand dont assume they have it).... vitamins, and spices but you already know this... if you're staying in the winter and you like the outdoors alot bring some comfortable hiking boots (again you could probably find these here but if you have a pair u like bring em)... thats all i can think of for now |

Absolutely nothing. I'm 6'4 with size 13 shoes. I love spicy foods and have odd tastes in books and music. YET, I have managed to find EVERYTHING I want.need in Korea. Bring an open mind, a carefree attitude, and the clothes ypu'll need until you get on your feet. Save your cash for you first month here, all those stupid little hidden fees (intenet, cable, previous tenants gas, food, gym, etc) can add up on you quick. If you get here and can't find something mention it here, or if yoou're shy, PM and I'll help you find it.

If I had the balls and the rectal capacity, I would have tried to stuff a kilo or so of good skunk up me arse. |

Not true. I went into this lingerie store last week and saw some boxer briefs. The colors were atrocious, but nonetheless boxerbriefs were available.
Deodorant is always good. Maybe some Poutine Mix? KD packets? I myself am a sucker for Jello Chocolated Pudding.
But, most of the stuff you can find at costco/walmart/homeplus. |

Hell, I bought boxers in decent looking colors in my size (and I'm not small, either) in E-Mart for less than W4000 per pair. Don't worry about your undies. |
