I lost my ARC in Japan (my wallet is nowhere to be found. I think it was stolen). I don't know how to report it to the Korean government from here. I went on the website but I have a mac so nothing works. |

Yep. Lost mine. Ugh.
What's the procedure in 2010? Same deal? Photo and fee? |

I recently lost my ARC while on vacation in America.
I had to bring in:
10,000 won
new photo
passport
It was painless.
I went to immigration, the guy at the front desk told me where to go and which button to push. I waited for just a few minutes, gave the money and the photo.
It did not take just five minutes. It was a 3 week wait. They offered to mail it to me or let me pick it up. Mailing was something like 3,000 or 4,000 won.
I chose to pick it up. I went in at 9am, selected #4 (pickup), showed them my receipt (actually I should have, but I'd lost mine, so I showed them a copy of my old ARC), picked it up and left.
Easy. |

Depends on where in Korea your residence is.
You return to the same office that issued your original ARC.

Do you know if they are open on Satudays? I can't really go during the week and I need to get a new ARC asap in order to transfer my Visa to a 30 day tourist Visa. Thanks. |

I'm in Anyang so I'm assuming it's the one in Seoul based on what I've looked up. I've been trying to contact them to see what their hours are on Saturdays, but whenever I call a voice automated recording states the directory is not listed. The number I tried was 031-2650-6212... do you know of anothernumber? |

This is half-right, half-wrong, especially if you have moved jurisdictions since your original ARC was issued. Go to whatever office covers your area currently. |

I may have lost mine this weekend, still need to check a few places.
I recently moved from Daegu to Seoul and lost it somewhere in Seoul before I could have my visa switched over to my current public school. Will I be able to update my visa information and get a new ARC from the Seoul immigration office or will I have to make a long awkward trip back to Daegu to apply for one there? Thanks for the help. |
