Ive been here for almost 7 months now, and Im really ready to learn more about being a better teacher. I am debating whether to stay here another year or not (here in Korea), and I feel Im becoming somewhat stale in my classes. I am reading a book, but I really like learning in classrooms or listening to others speak. Plus, Im somewhat shy and this atmosphere is a good way to meet others with like minds!

Does anyone have any information about upcoming workshops or lectures regarding teaching in Korea (Seoul and Suwon areas)??

Thanx!

They have monthy meetings with speakers. A few months ago they had a great presentation on ideas for the first day of classes.

YOu just missed the february meeting. It was yesterday for the Seoul chapter. One presentation on how to make drilling more fun Rolling Eyes and another excellent presentation on goals in the classroom.
