there seems to be 2 ways to read this can someone enlightne me?

Paragraph 6 - Salary
6-2 The first pay period shall start commence upon the completion of 25 days from the first working day and next salary shall be payable in two weeks (bi-weekly) from the previous payday during the term of the agreement.

a) My first pay period starts after 25 days, i.e. I work for free for the first 25 days and I start getting paid from then on.
b) My first pay is banked after 25 days and every 2 weeks thereafter.

Which is it??

It sounds like b, especially since they say the NEXT salary shall be payable bi-weekly. When is the previous salary paid if not after the first 25 days? Bi-weekly is pretty rare in Korea to start with.

If you're skeptical, change period to day and send the contract back with the change noted.

Yeah, it's b. It's worded wrong, though -- and you ask them to fix it -- but either way, you won't be working for free for the first 25 days.

Thanks...

I thought I remembered reading something on this board a few months ago about some contract quirk that essentially meant teachers did some free days in the year; thought this might be it. Thanks for putting my mind at rest.
