Here's the deal. My fiancee and I will be going to Seoul, Korea for three months this summer (I have relatives there, but they refuse to help me out because they don't approve of my fiancee. But that's a whole another thread.) We're looking for a studio near "Yeoksam" or "Kangnam" or "Samsung" subway station that we can rent for three months. I've looked at real estate agency websites, but it seems like they don't deal with short term rentals like this, and it's too expensive to call them up and ask so I figured I might ask the question on this forum first. What are the price range in that area for short-term rentals? Where do we find short-term rentals? How much security deposit do we have to pay? Any other alternatives? Thanks in advance for the answer!
P.S An additional question: the "hagwon" he'd be working at offered him a studio with another teacher as a roommate. Is this the standard practice? Would it be okay to ask for any housing allowances if he turns this down? |
