So, I'm shacked up in a love hotel in Incheon.

The porn channel is quite fascinating in korea, but looks totally fake.

Going to see 3 old castles in Soeul, the DMZ and panmunjeon, and maybe the small city of Busan before taking the boat to Japan.

Anything else to see in Korea?

In Seoul I'd recommend Kyeongbok palace, any of the mountain temples near the city (Bongwonsa near Sinchon subway station is a winner), Insadong- (go to one of the tea houses in the side streets), Yongsan market if you like electronic gadgets, Namdaemun market, and maybe the ice skating rink outside City Hall if it's still there and it's sunny outside.

Nice ideas all.

Thanks for the pics. I bought the Lonely Planet- Korea book at KYOBO bookstore. In India, I lived by that book and rather lose an arm than that book. It was spot on everything.

You were just here the other day! You could have gotten the newest edition for a third of the price!

komtengi,
The question was "Anything else to see in Korea?"

"Korea is one."

Suwon Fortress.
The LP guide for Korea isn't particularly good. Take India for example. So many tourists, so many people buying the guide book. Korea gets next to no tourists. Not much money to be made researching it and updating it every year.
The Korea LP guide is probably the worst I've ever used.

korea as one?? cmon give me a break... thats so propaganda. besides the obvious fact that their are travel restrictions that would dismiss that statement. two different countries, two different cultures, two different languages... and that equals one?
