A) Attack of the Krat:
I was once walking to the subway stairs of Hapjeong Station. I was at street level and maybe 15 meters from the top of the staircase, when I noticed something in the right hand corner of my eye.
I looked down to be confronted with the sight of something that resembled a small kitten or a large rat; so I will call it a Krat. This Krat was blackish and had two white stripes running down its back. It was running parallel to me and also in the same direction, so the only thing that was missing was a lead.
At the top of the stairs was a 20'something omni in the kimchi squat position talking on her handphone. She was to busy watching the foreigner to notice the Krat. The girl was sitting to the right of me, so there was no room for the Krat to go around her. I went to the left of the girl to begin my descent down the subway stairs, however the Krat had other ideas.
The girl noticed the Krat at the last minute, but by then it was to late. The Krat launched itself at the girl, landing in her lap then falling off (I had the same idea but didn't have the courage), the girl proceeded to scream, she then dropped her handphone and fell on her arse.
The last I saw of the Krat, it was running down the stairs at full pace, obviously in a rush to get to Cub Nite as it was Line 2>
B) Just after the Daegu fire disaster. Sitting on the subway when suddenly the door opens - the one that is between the carriages. This homeless looking guy starts walking through with this 5 litre water container of a clear looking liquid. The other passengers were all probably thinking the same thing, that it maybe some kind of lightable fluid.
As the guy walks past toward the other end of the carriage, he starts splashing this liquid on the ground and on the feet of passengers. Within a few seconds, this oldish guy on the carriage jumped up and crash tackled him.
The subway was stopped at the next station and those little green men, with those little green shirts came and escorted the guy from the carriage. I'm also pretty sure that it was water, coz it didn't have any overriding smell. |
