My friend's mere inches from signing a contract with an ECC in Seodaemoon, but we wanted to see if any of you fine folk know about this school first. Anybody have any experience with these guys? ECC Seodaemoon, apparently not too far from Hongik University, North of the Han right in the city. Thanks.

I'm living in that area now, very central and crowded, very handy for..everything in Seoul really.

I had a good 2-year run with an ECC (sorry not that one) but they aint all bad by any means. If everything else checks out -- contact with staff, decent apartment, etc -- the area's lively & it could work out fine. Best luck to your friend.

It is a good school. I can't vouch for any other ECCs but that one is on the level. It has its problems like all hagwons eg. constant stream of complaining parents, always changing the curriculum because of these complaints..etc...but overall its a pretty good place to work.

I'd leave if I didn't like it
