| Where can I get a nice looking spice rack? And a good variety of spices for that matter? |

Almost any Safeway or IGA in Canada can supply the spices. You may have to go to a Canadian Tire or a hobby shop for the spice rack itself.
A variety of spices in Korea?
Oregano, basil, thyme, rosemary, black pepper, dried ginger, garlic, cinnamon, nutmeg and gochu are all fairly easy to find.
For rarer spices try Hannam market near Itaewon or Haddon House. For curry cumin and similar east Indian spices look for ASIAN foods markets. I have noticed them almost everywhere. |

Alton Brown has a great solution for spices. You put your spices in small plastic jars and label the lids. Then attach some velcro tape to your wall or the door of your cabinet and put some velcro on the bottom of the jars.
It's a good space saver and keeps all the spices in easy view and reach. |

| Costco's got some spice racks for 20,000 won, though the jars are individually labelled. |
