Hi boffins!
Is there any way that I can go to somewhere like Google images and expand the size of the picture I click on for printing purposes.
Even the PC bang guys dont seem to know how to do it with Korean instructions. |

Not sure what you want from your mail as I have no idea what you mean by "korean instructions" so the following might miss the mark...
Your best bet here is to copy images and paste them into something like Word where you can then drage them to reisize them to a single page of A4.
but unless the image is close to or more than A4 size anyway, this is going to look horrendous. When you search google, look in the top right of the page of your results. You'll see Large-Medium-Small. Click on Large to eliminate the dross. Still, A4 paper is 4583 x 3213 pixels in size. You will be extremely lucky to find images that you want at this size. The nearer the better but you should be able to get away with decent enough quality at around 1500-2000+ pixels for the longest side of the image.
The next obstacle to overcome will be the printer. Depending on how good its resolution is, what kind of paper you're printing on, and the settings when you set up printing, your image could range from anything grim to actually quite good.
If you can get over all this, you should have a result... |

Windows Picture and Fax Viewer lets your stretch the picture to the full size of the page for printing. So download the file, browse to it in Windows Explorer, double click it and Windows Picture and Fax Viewer should open it up. Click on the print icon and follow the wizard. |

... this only works if that program is associated with the image you've downloaded. Just in case this isn't what happens when you follow Pangit's helpful idea, you can right click the file you've downloaded and select Open with and Choose program if you cannot see one in the context menu. A dialogue will open and you should be able to find something that will open it in the list there. |

Yahoo image search is actually better than Google in some ways, especially for this. You can search:
hilary duff wallpaper
large image of tiger
small black and white pictures of kittens
and it will give you what you're looking for. Try it. |

http://www.ysearchblog.com/archives/000083.html by any chance?
Yahoo's creators are certainly watching the ball and Google lets you down for these kinds of searches forcing you to use the image advanced search properties.
Try typing in small black and white jpg pictures of kittens though and you are on a hiding to nothing. Google lets you search for image type and choose greyscale too as an extra colour setting.
Anyway, Yahoo loses out to Google in my book anyway. Our site is ranked 2nd and 6th by Yahoo when you type in "john and sheena", Google puts us in our rightful place 1st and 2nd! |
