We are filipino couple in the Philippines who wants to teach in korea. Anyone here who can help us.
I have my own domain name/website, Do you think it's a good idea to post our resume and pictures on our website.
Any help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Undoubtedly you are Filipino nationals with Filipino passports? Korean immigration awards E-2 visas for English teaching to individuals with passports from English-speaking countries almost exclusively: US, Canada, Ireland, UK, SA, Australia, New Zealand. Although we have heard of some cases where immigration has overlooked the country of origin, your chances aren't as good as someone from a "native" English speaking country. It may help if you could demonstrate your proficiency in English despite being from the Philippines. Give it a shot, you never know!
As for posting your resume/pics on your website, it would be preferable to just forward your resume/pics to schools you think are interesting. Essentially, you have to go to them. Should the school want to pursue your interest, you could always direct them to your website as part of your resume skills/interests, for example.
Best of luck to you! |
